Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier, Internship Project (May - July 2025)
During my first year of Masters internship at Université Paul-Valéry, I was tasked with contributing to the 2025 communication campaign for the Taxe d’Apprentissage.
The main goal was to make a complex, technical subject accessible and engaging for a wide audience of students, staff, and external partners. To achieve this, I created a mascot (Val the Origami Frog), along with illustrations and animations that served as the visual of the secondary campaign. Together with my teammate, we produced the main video for the project, combining my visual work with his directing and editing expertise. Credits : Calvin Madec

Character Design : Val the Origami Frog
Set of character pose sheets created for the Université Paul-Valéry 2025 communication campaign for the Taxe d’Apprentissage.
These sheets explore different poses and expressions of Val, the campaign mascot. The goal was to make the character versatile, expressive, and adaptable to various communication needs, from formal explanations to playful engagement.

The poses were first sketched in Procreate, then refined in Photoshop for consistency and clarity. They served as a foundation for both static illustrations (posters, social media) and animated sequences used in the campaign video.
